Environmental Risk Management

The research was aimed at providing new insight and information and to investigate the realistic capability of existing organizations and institutions to prevent events and processes which threaten the lives of human beings and the environment. The results enable the harmonization of legislation and the development of a basis for the identification of environmental indicators and/or data types, hazard maps, etc. The project is especially important because it provides an organizationally functional risk management model and system and a proposition for an informational decision support system for environmental risk management.
