Master's Programme in Nuclear Security in Sofia
Start of the New Admission Cycle of the Master's Programme in Nuclear Security at University of National and World Economy - Sofia, Bulgaria in the framework of the NSS12.

Duration: 120 ECTS, four semesters, two years.

The Master's Programme is a result of an agreement between the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and the University of National and World Economy (UNWE), Sofia, Bulgaria, signed by the Rector Prof. D.Sc.(Econ.) Statty Stattev and the Director General of IAEA Mr. Yukiya Amano during his visit in Sofia in June 2014.

The Master's Programme is developed and supported by by IAEA, International Nuclear Security Education Network (INSEN) and several Bulgarian and International institutions, including the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski", Technical University - Sofia, the Nuclear Regulatory Agency, Ministry of Energy and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Several technical visits are organized to nuclear facilities.

Currently we have 19 students from the following countries:
Bulgaria, Nigeria, Zambia, Lebanon, Jordan, Burkina Faso, Mauritania, DR Congo,Uganda and Sudan.

Tuition fees:
4 000 Euro / per year (for non- European students)
