The international academic magazine "Human Security", issued twice a year, is a publication by the Centre for Human Security Research of the Faculty of Security Studies. The magazine is dedicated to encouraging and spreading of a scientific approach in the field of human security within the academic community of Europe and beyond. Reasons to start this magazine lie in the growing significance of issues in the field of human security which are a basic part of the globalized world we live in. The thematic diversity of this magazine corresponds to the wide scope of the field of human security which includes areas such as the protection of human rights, sustained development, environment preservation, poverty, HIV/AIDS, terrorism, political violence, humanitarian activities, refugees, conflict prevention and resolution, postwar reconstruction, as well as a series of specific issues that pertain to so-called "new security threats". Bulletins
This bulletin is published twice a year. It is a pragmatically-oriented publication that represents an independent analytic assessment of security in Serbia in the widest sense of this term. It is characterized by a systematic approach to various security-related topics such as analyses of political and economic circumstances in the country, "case studies" in areas of military and police activities, domestic judiciary, institutions for the protection of the environment, etc., as well as topics such as overviews and comments of events in the surrounding countries which are of interest for the security in Serbia. Security Studies These editions focus on the analysis and understanding of problems within the interdisciplinary field of security. They are works by national and foreign authors which analyze issues in security management, geopolitics, the mode of operation of intelligence services and other state and para-state agencies, as well as historical security studies that focus on Serbia and its surroundings.
