Dejana Jovanović Popović (1962),
redovni profesor na Ekološka bezbednost, Monitoring u zaštiti i Industrijska bezbednost.
 
 
Školovanje

Diplomirala je 1987. na Farmaceutskom fakultetu, Univerziteta u Beogradu, gde je i završila specijalizaciju iz kliničke biohemije 1992. godine.  Zvanje doktora farmaceutskih nauka stekla je 1998. godine na University College London (UCL), odnosno The School of Pharmacy, University of London odbranivši disrtaciju pod nazivom "Effects of surfactant systems on metformin absorption". Doktorska disertacija, kao i njena "post-doctoral" pozicija  (1998-2001) na Univerzitetu u Londonu je bila fokusirana na istraživanje novih nosača bioaktivnih supstanci, toksikologiji, kao i hemijskoj, biološkoj proceni i karakterizaciji nanomaterijala.

 

Zaposlenje

Od 1998. do 2002. radila je na Farmaceutskom fakultetu Univerziteta u Londonu kao postdoktoralni naučnik. Do 2005. godine radi kao profesor hemije i biologije u Englesko-američkoj školi u Beogradu. Za docenta je izabrana 2006. godine, za vanrednog profesora 2011, a za redovnog profesora 2016. godine na Fakultetu bezbednosti. Izvodi nastavu na predmetima: Ekološka bezbednost, Monitoring u zaštiti, Industrijska bezbednost, a na Geografskom fakultetu Ekotoksikologija i Monitoring vazduha.

 

Naučni i istraživački projekti

  • Istraživački projekt na električnom stimuliranju oslobađanja bioloških supstanci iz biodegradibilnih hidrogelova, Centar za istraživanje transporta lekova, Farmaceutski fakultet, Univerzitet u Londonu, 1993;
  • Povećanje absorpcije vigabatrina u mozak, Centar za istraživanje transporta lekova i Zavod za farmakologiju,  Farmaceutski fakultet,  Univerzitet u Londonu, 1998;
  • Nanosistemi kao novi transportni mediji za oralnu aplikaciju insulina, Centar za istraživanje transporta lekova i Zavod za hemiju,  Farmaceutski fakultet,  Univerzitet u Londonu, 1999-2002;

Profesionalni angažmani

Tokom svog rada na Farmaceutskom fakultetu Univerziteta u Londonu rukovodila je projektima istraživanja i kolaboracije između Farmaceutskog fakulteta i Elan Pharmaceuticals iz Dablina, Republika Irska kao i Glaxo-Wellcome, Engleska. Oglašavala se u domaćim medijima komentarima o genetski modifikovanim organizmima i nihovom uticaju na životnu sredinu.

Oblast interesovanja i važniji radovi
 

Profesionalno je usmerena na izučavanje rizika od upotrebe nanotehnologija, ekoloških izbeglica, kao i bezbednošću vodnih resursa. Dr Dejana Jovanović Popović je autor ili koautor radova u naučnim časopisima međunarodnog značaja sa SCI I SSCI liste. Bila je učesnik u realizaciji 8 međunarodnih naučnih projekata. Autor je dve naučne monografije iz oblasti ekološke bezbednosti i ekoloških izbeglica, a editor je monografije čiji je izdavač Springer.
